100 Hedgehogs
I often sketch hedgehogs while watching the evening news.
It calms me down. Sometimes I fill entire pages of my sketchbook with them.
Admittedly, they’ve been looking more frantic as time and world events ramp up.
In fact, it’s beginning to look like I may have developed a new species of hedgehog with that long spikey hair.
Several people have told me they love these wacky little creatures. So, I decided to go all out and purposefully draw 100 of them in one sitting, filming it in time-lapse. For a good time and 3 minutes of 100 hedgehogs coming alive before your eyes watch the video.
The final result of my time-lapse experiment is now a giclee canvas print and is available to purchase from my store.
For years I’ve sketched hedgehogs, just to calm me down mostly. Especially when I’m watching the evening news. The last few years they’ve begun to take on a more frantic, albeit funny, look. I produced a time-lapse video of me drawing this to some ridiculous music...and for a good time, you can watch it here.
Giclée prints available on wrapped canvas, signed (limited edition), wired & ready to hang. Tax included within the U.S., save time and money by selecting local pickup in Monterey.
